Olivier Baujard has been appointed Alcatel’s Chief Technology Officer in January 2005. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy. Beforehand, he was President of the Network Applications Division, President of the Enterprise Solutions Division and President of the Switching Systems Division.

Prior to joining Alcatel in 1988, he held several positions in government agencies dealing with telecommunications regulation and markets. He notably was a technical adviser for the French Prime Minister. Olivier Baujard started his career in France Telecom in engineering and managerial roles.

Olivier Baujard is a graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris.
