Harald Hönninger

Harald Hönninger studied Physics at the Universities of Freiburg and Munich.

In 1986 Mr. Hönninger joined the Corporate Research within Robert Bosch GmbH for Manufacturing Technology where he operated till 1989.

In the area of engine management systems development he took over the responsibilities as line manager as well as project manager for several software projects and he gained experience for more than 13 years. During this time he was also leading several CMM/CMMI-based improvement projects within the Gasoline Systems business division.

From 2003 until present Mr. Hönninger is Vice President Advance Engineering for Software-Intensive Systems at Corporate Research and Advanced Development within the Bosch group. This management area holds various competencies in systems and software engineering as well as process management and improvement. In this role Mr. Hönninger was responsible for the second phase of the Bosch Initiative for Software Intensive Systems (BISS), a company-wide CMM/CMMI based process improvement effort.

The Corporate Systems Engineering Process Group (C-SEPG) for Software-Intensive Systems, founded in 2005, is also part of Mr. Hönninger's management area.
