Exhibition Award 2006
The annual ITEA symposia include an exhibition enabling project teams to show their goals, achievements and results using posters and demonstrations on their own stands. This year was even more challenging with the inauguration of an Award for best exhibit.
Most understandable
The Exhibition Award 2006 went to the project team that communicated the purpose, objectives, goals, and – if already possible – achievements and results of its project in the most understandable and vivid way at the ITEA 2 Symposium 2006 exhibition. The Exhibition Award is not about the most beautiful stand but concerns rather the clearest way a project is presented. So even a project with ‘only' a poster could win the Exhibition Award!
Projects were nominated for the Award by symposium visitors. They evaluated projects taking into account:
- Are posters clear and understandable?
- Are demonstrations clear and convincing?
- Are presenters able to explain in a clear and understandable way what their project is about and what its business value is?
(Are they able to do this in just a couple of minutes? Is there a clear line in their story?)
Top-three choice
All symposium visitors received an evaluation form enabling them to propose their ‘top-three' project teams by giving a shortlist of which projects they feel should be granted Bronze, Silver or Gold!
Award ceremony
The Exhibition Award 2006 ceremony took place during the closing session in the plenary room on Friday at 14:00. ITEA 2 Chairman Rudolf Haggenmüller presented
- the Bronze Award to the project team of HD4U
- the Silver Award to the project team of MAGELLAN
- and the Gold Award to the project team of PASSEPARTOUT
