Awarded previously on only one occasion, and reserved to reward work of exceptional merit - is the ITEA Excellence Award.

The award was presented to the Core Team of Roadmap 2, the second edition of the ITEA Technology Roadmap for Software-Intensive Systems.

ITEA chairman Paul Mehring said: ”This team has again produced a landmark document, not only with respect to the ITEA programme, but for the wider strategic areas of ‘software-intensive systems’. We are proud of their achievement, for the programme and the whole ITEA community.”
